Dear Colleague:
We hope you will present your most recent significant research results at the 2012 Annual Meeting of the Society of Toxicology (SOT) in San Francisco, CA. SOT is now accepting abstracts for poster and platform presentations. The deadline to submit an abstract is Monday, October 3,
2011 at 11:59 PM (Eastern Time), and the cost is $50. The 2012 abstract submission site is available on-line <http://sot2012.abstractcentral.com>
.
The Scientific Program Committee has developed a slate of timely and highly informative symposia, roundtables, workshops and other special sessions that span the entire spectrum of topics of interest to our diverse membership. The 2012 program promises to be yet another banner year for the exchange of the most recent advances in toxicological sciences.
In addition to regular programming, this year's scientific program has been crafted to highlight 5 scientific themes of topical interest. These themes and their objectives can be found online by visiting the SOT Annual Meeting section of our Web site <http://www.toxicology.org/ai/meet/am2012/thematic.asp> . A thematic approach will afford us the opportunity to gain depth of analysis and reflection on timely topics of relevance.
For questions related to the submission of abstract(s), please download a copy of the Frequently Asked Questions <http://www.toxicology.org/ai/fa/12_Abstract_Sub_FAQ.pdf> (FAQs). If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact Nichelle Sankey <mailto:nsankey@aim-hq.com?Subject=SOT%20Abstract%20Submission> at SOT Headquarters at 703.438.3115.
We encourage you to share this information with your colleagues. As a reminder, as an SOT member there is no limit to the number of abstracts that you can sponsor, but you only may be listed as presenting author on one abstract.
We hope to welcome you to San Francisco for the Annual Meeting March 11–15, 2012.
